After watching ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’, actor R. Madhavan has admitted that he wanted to marry Juhi Chawla. After the success of ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’, R. Madhavan came out in the open and said he wanted to marry Juhi Chawla after watching the movie. National Award-winning actor R. Madhavan recently sang a heartwarming confession that he had only one dream after seeing actress Juhi Chawla in the 1988 blockbuster Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, namely to marry her. During a promotional interaction for Netflix’s ‘The Railway Men’, the actor shared the recollection with Juhi Chawla, who was in the show. Juhi’s appearance with Aamir Khan in the film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak left an impression on Madhavan as a teenager as he told his mother that he wanted to marry her when he saw her in the film.
I have to make a confession – when I saw Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, I told my Mom that I wanted to marry Juhi Chawla. My only intention was to do that,” said Madhavan, beaming a smile at the other cast members, who were Juhi among them. Interestingly, the later films that they both appeared in, The Railway Men, had them appear side by side but Madhavan said that they were not able to share the same frame. Juhi finished shooting his parts before he was cast for the project. Undoubtedly, however, he was pleased to have finally had the opportunity to collaborate with the actress that he had been appreciative of for many years.
Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla were both introduced to the big screen with Mansoor Khan’s film ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ and it became one of the most iconic Bollywood romantic films. Juhi’s acting in the film was immensely popular and touched the million hearts with one of them being the one of a young Madhavan who thought that he would never be an actor himself, but years later he came to be one of the most popular actors of the Indian cinema. Madhavan’s tear-inducing acknowledgement has come back into the fold for those who would enjoy the actor being honest and his love for one of the most popular stars of Bollywood. It’s brought audiences a reminder, yet again, that even the largest of stars were once star-struck fans, believing that they could meet, and even marry their favourite actors.
